Still studying old masters. This one started with base color and refined a bit. Those Rembrandt works are particularity with color scheme of reds and oranges. I have tried to add a bit of yellow (not pure, solid yellow, but somewhat in between orange and warm yellow), and after that, I immediately saw that that yellow in relationship with reds and oranges looks like bright green. It makes much more easy to work with than traditional (more flexible, cheaper...)
However, I know that I can use my knowledge both in digital and traditional. Currently I am learning basics, fundamentals of perspective, colors, values, edges, anatomy, composition and much more.

Also, I have been experimenting traditional media, watercolors and gouache, those are very comfortable and handy tools (tomorrow I will upload those).

I found out about Frank Reilly's method of drawing and done research which lead me into Jeff Watts, Erik Gist and all others great artists. So, everyday I found out some new inspirational artists or techniques and I hope so I'm learning pretty fast.
In that last week I drew ~ 6-7 hours a day. However, after I learned basics (spheres, boxes and cylinders) by heart, I will do creative stuff with figures, portraits, landscapes. I promise. Now, I don't have much technical knowledge. It's also not about copying surface what you see in front of the model, but feeling the action of figure. Off course, those poses are exaggeration of real life, but it is best why to learn about human figure.

I have made my first caricature with digital tools, Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch tablet.
It was very interesting to experiment with different medium. My approach was inspired by top caricature artist Jason Seiler. His DVD about making caricatures inspired my to work much more in this genre. I hope so, that if I practice a lot, I will improve really fast.
